Capital Inspection is independently owned and operated by Robert Cavanaugh.

Robert holds a bachelor's Degree from the University of Massachusetts. He has more than a decade of experience in both residential and commercial construction. As a captain in the US Army Engineering Branch, Robert served for sixteen years in active and reserve duty. He has experience as a Federal Safety Manager and has been certified in asbestos inspection, lead paint inspection, hazardous inspection, lead abatement, hazardous waste management, pest control technology, industrial hygiene, and electrical safety.

Additionally, Robert graduated from the Illinois Inspector Training Institute and is licensed by the State of Illinois as a Certified Home Inspector.
